4A Games revealed today that they are working on a big free update for Metro Exodus, which will add DLSS 2. Frustratingly, Metro Exodus must be restarted to apply some settings changes. Iron Mode fully disables the save system so you progress is only saved between Chapters but on Reader difficulty this shouldn't be a problem, however because of glitches, cheap deaths and even the car getting stuck in the CAPSIAN Chapter, this can be a real pain. I have it at 1440p maxed out (hairworks/PhysX on) obviously no RTX though and it feels like it's somewhere between 60-90fps. Metro 2033 movie will get a total production budget of about $11.5 million and will mark the first time ever for the franchise to appear on the big screen. Russian Federal fund of social and economic support of national cinematography (or simply Fond Kino) has revealed several changes for the film, announced back in 2019 with further plans to begin shooting in 2020. For now, the project is moving forward with a new director and is targeting a 2024 release date. It seems the pandemic has left its mark on the upcoming Metro 2033 movie, interfering with the original plans to premiere the film next year.
